That sounds like a wonderful trip, Paula! This is the perfect time of year to visit New Mexico - everything is as green as it gets (ha ha), and it's not too uncomfortably warm in the southern spots. Silver City is a lot of fun. If you get the chance, stop by Truth or Consequences between Albuquerque and Silver City. They have incredible natural hot springs there - soooo soothing and beautiful. Enjoy your trip! I look forward to reading your travelogue when you return. I'm actually driving out to CA this weekend for my daughter's graduation from UC Santa Cruz, LOL, so we will be ships passing in the night.

Hi Paula! Well, keep the Twilight Zone music going.... I moved to NM from So Cal! I see you are in El Cajon. I lived in Carlsbad before moving to my tiny Las Vegas in New Mexico three years ago.

We Polish girls definitely need to stick together. Are you traveling to Taos and Santa Fe when you visit New Mexico? My little town is an hour east of Santa Fe.

Paula...I cannot believe how much energy a 13 week old puppy has!

We go on two, 15 minute "power walks" a day and this still does little to mitigate his energy. He is still snapping, engaging in mounting behaviors, and charging me! I still love him to death and would not take any amount of money for him even if the door bell rang right now and there was an armored car in the drive-way with someone ready to swap it for the dog!

He has been a fantastic companion animal. We have bonded very close. I can't use the restroom without him scratching the door and crying.
